"A friend of mine and I are touring midwest resorts up in da UP and were at Marquette last week. Of note, the town itself is exceptionally charming, full of breweries, local bars, interesting g little sandwich shops, boutiques and such that it reminds me of Fort Collins, Colorado in the 80s. The resort is great, the skiing was above bar due to the heavy snowfall that was going on while we were there. You have a couple of bars to..."

"Great local hill for people in the Marquette area. Looker’s right is standard Michigan terrain, mellow but fun. Looker’s left the terrain is more challenging off the River Chair, and you get some sections and views with exposed Canadian Shield that feel like you’re out west. Visit the T Bar and have a Bloody Mary. I got mine spicy."

"Great ski area close to Marquette. Food was OK. Grooming was good. Sculptures on the hill were fantastic. Wish the middle chair was open. Fun place to ski."

"We went for the cheese wheel race, first timers from out of town. The location is beautiful and the facility is very welcoming. The cheese wheel should not be missed if you're in town for this annual event!"

"I skied Marquette Mountain yesterday after a day at Boho. I needed the therapy and got it! This hill is one of the finest in the Midwest for views, staff and runs. I was uniquely blessed with the finest snow and silky powder I have skied in about 20 years! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The runs were a pure delight. What a cool vibe. Thank you."

"Fun and friendly mountain with a wonderful community. Spent a full Saturday and watched the crowd come and go while taking breaks inside the lodge and back to our Airbnb nearby. The staff was fun and everyone we met on lift was so friendly. Our ski weekend was very affordable relative to other experiences overall. The only downside was the closed central lift and how difficult it made switching over to access the “back country” area."

"Snowboarding for years and this was my first time here. Overall a great place, lift lines are reasonable, runs are fun and well maintained. The Mountain Muffin is a great sandwich. Prices are comparable to other ski hills in the area. Parking can be a task, crossing the highway is super dangerous. Most trucks and even the snowplows seemingly don't slow down at all. Van and outdoor chairs got covered in flying plow debris from over 30 feet away. Views..."

"Better skiing than expected! Some of the runs were pretty steep, and several had some small cliffs and large boulders to navigate around. Some good longer trails. Beautiful views of lake Superior too. Fun, quirky vibe to the resort with a couple metal artworks around. Lots of stuff to do in the area and less than an hour from pictured rocks. Definitely worth a visit!"
